My Birthday

today I am 63 and probably the happiest 63 year old in the country ... if not the world ...
How come? Well with the help of over 30 wonderful Red Hat Ladies we celebrated wonderfully ...
When I was thinking about how to celebrate without having to spend money I don't have, the idea of a HOOT came to mind. So "Margret's Birthday Hoot" began to take shape.
In the Red Hat Society a Hoot is a get-together without much planning. So we met in town for a photograph

It was wonderful to see how everyone had fun to meet old and new friends and to explore or little seaside town. Of course I loved the cards and gifts, but the enjoyment and fun of the others was the best present I could have had. 

And the suggestion to make the Hoot an annual event went down well too!
So ... will we repeat this great bit of fun?
