That ruddy virus

Today is a sad day for me. I had been looking forward to meeting with my Red Hat Society sisters on the English east coast. We were to have three nights of fun in Hemsby, Norfolk. Had to cry off because with this rotten virus it is just too risky ... mostly for Stan.
and then I had to write to my chapter:

Ladies, sad news ... our meetings are cancelled until further notice. It just does not make any sense to risk potentially passing on the dreaded virus on among ourselves and others.
